/godmode, /beastmode, /ghost, /devil... None of these codes actually exist. They're not Claude features: they're just words that Claude interprets as natural language. Typing /devil amounts to writing "play devil's advocate" — no more, no less. The real power is in the layer of documented commands below. The 10 habits that change the way you work
Most users use Claude as a better Google. Here are the 10 habits to build, each detailed in its own module:
01 Pick the right model — Sonnet 5 every day, Opus 5 for heavy work, Fable 5.1 for the summit → Module 02
02 Brief, don't question — role + context + task + format → Module 03
03 Never repeat yourself — Preferences, Projects, and reference files → Module 11
04 Ask for tools, not text — simulators and dashboards as Artifacts → Module 08
05 Delegate deliverables — Excel, PPT, reports produced by Cowork → Module 05
06 Connect your tools — Gmail, calendar, CRM read directly → Module 10
07 Automate the recurring — scheduled tasks (/schedule): morning briefing, weekly report → Module 05
08 Speak instead of typing — double-tap ⌥ + dictation, 3 seconds → Module 12
09 Capitalize on methods — one Skill per repeating task → Module 11
10 Steer remotely — Dispatch from your phone while the Mac works → Module 05
Claude's memory
🧠 Memory for everyone
Memory (drawn from your history) is available on all plans, Free included. Visible and editable in Settings → Capabilities → Memory.
🗂️ Per-topic entries
No more daily summaries: Claude now keeps categorized individual entries, which it reads and updates during a conversation.
📅 Monthly Recap
In Settings → Reflect (beta): a monthly recap of your activity, your usage habits, and areas for improvement.
🔒 Compliance instinct
Memory can be purged or disabled at any time — worth framing in your internal policy if client data passes through Claude.
🔗 One memory for chat and Cowork
What Claude learns in conversation now follows it into Cowork, and vice versa. Memories are per-topic files you can read, edit, or delete in Settings → Memory. Sensitive topics (health, opinions, religion, orientation) are excluded by default — an explicit toggle lets you include them.

Quick caching (prompt caching) — reducing costs
For your technical teams. Prompt caching lets you reuse large blocks of context (reference documents, system instructions) across repeated calls. The result: up to 90% savings on input tokens and reduced latency.
Pick two of the ten habits and install them this week (for example 03 and 07).
Expected result : Two habits in place, each linked to its module.
30 minutes to scope connectors, access and compliance for your specific context.
